Community Voices Microsite
Web, Meta – 023

Context︎︎︎
The Community Voices Hub is an interactive web app that spotlights Meta’s Community Voices video series, showcasing how people around the world use Meta’s products to drive positive change. Designed as a living portfolio, it highlights the meaningful impact Meta creates globally.

The Reasoning︎︎︎
Community Voices had no dedicated home beyond social media, leaving impactful stories without a proper platform to live, grow, and be discovered. This meant communities also lacked a space to promote their causes or initiatives in a meaningful, lasting way. Given that Community Voices was positioned as a key effort to strengthen Meta’s public image, creating a centralized online destination became a clear priority.

The Goal︎︎︎
The initiative aimed to improve overall performance on
about.meta.com by reducing bounce rates and increasing viewership of Community Voices films. Beyond storytelling, the goal was to deepen engagement with community-driven features such as charities, Facebook Donations, and organizational discovery, turning inspiration into action.

The Result︎︎︎
This project was the first of its kind and served as a proof of concept for launching a site on Meta’s internal React renderer, eventually paving the way for its adoption on Meta’s main corporate communications site, about.meta.com.

Through the use of animations and interactive transitions, we built an experience that significantly improved user behavior during testing—achieving a 60% reduction in bounce rate and reaching 92% learning engagement.
