The Comms Portal is Meta’s central hub for Communications and Public Affairs, and was created to address the lack of a centralized, secure space for resources, which previously led to scattered documentation and inconsistent access. Developed as a bottom-up initiative to streamline communications infrastructure, it leverages a scalable framework of bespoke components, enabling rapid page creation while minimizing reliance on external visual assets.
I was tasked to help redesign the portal. The launch was highly successful, with 95% of content owners identified and onboarded, resulting in a 30% increase in page views, triple the time spent on pages, and over 1,200 resources added within the first month, solidifying its role as an essential tool for the organization.
